The line quality within this piece is so clear and precise. It really gives the piece a graphic appearance and I feel that the media used helps create this.

I like the way this piece works on so many levels and that is pushes the boundaries of the normal concertina book form. It is infact four books contained in one and appears to be quite a challenge to look through.

To begin with this book apears to be an average book form but when it is pulled out then we realise it is in fact a 3D form. It almost has that pop-up book apeal.

I really like the fact that two separate books are contained within one folded book. Its origami
form also adds that extra interest.

The fact that this piece is made up of numerous books creates interest in to what is actually contained inside. It makes the books appear more like an object that its is representing is form.

This piece concertinas out from a compact little book, as it appears just to be a conventional book but when opened out it is revealed to us that its a long length landscape drawing.
